Frequently Asked Questions

The Project

What is THE VEGAS PROJECT?

THE VEGAS PROJECT is a fine art photography series documenting nine historic neon signs at The Neon Museum Las Vegas. Unlike typical "vintage Vegas" photography, each artwork is supported by comprehensive historical research — uncovering civil rights milestones, women pioneers, immigrant entrepreneurs, and endangered craftsmanship that tourism marketing erased.

Why only 13 prints per artwork?

Ultra-limited editions (2-5 per format) ensure each collector owns a rare cultural artifact. Once an edition sells out, it will never be reprinted. This scarcity reflects the museum-quality positioning of the project.

What documentation is included?

Every print includes a numbered certificate of authenticity signed by the artist, plus a 5-page historical documentation specific to that artwork — covering the sign's history, cultural significance, designers, and untold stories discovered during research.

How does the Neon Museum partnership work?

10-15% of every sale is donated to The Neon Museum Las Vegas to support their preservation programs — restoration of endangered signs and educational initiatives. When you collect this work, you become a conservation partner.

Can I visit the signs in Las Vegas?

Yes! Most of these signs are displayed at The Neon Museum Las Vegas (770 Las Vegas Blvd N). Book a guided tour at neonmuseum.org to see them in person.

Where can I learn more about the research?

Full research documentation, stories, and source references for all nine artworks are available at afterglow.vegas.

Purchasing

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Shop Pay. All payments are secured with 3D Secure protocol.

Are there taxes?

EU residents pay French VAT (5.5% on original artworks). Non-EU customers do not pay French VAT, but may be subject to local import duties and taxes upon delivery. Please contact your local customs office for details.

Can I pay in installments?

Shop Pay offers installment options at checkout for eligible orders. For large editions (€9,500+), contact us directly to discuss payment arrangements.

Can I order a custom size?

No. Each artwork is available only in the four formats listed (80×120, 100×150, 120×180, 160×240 cm). This ensures consistency and maintains the ultra-limited edition structure.

What if an edition sells out?

Once an edition is sold out, it will never be reprinted. Each format has a fixed number of prints (5, 3, 3, or 2), and we do not increase edition sizes. Consider joining our mailing list to be notified of new releases.
